Lamb Meatballs

  • 2 lbs. ground lamb
  • 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped (about 3 T)
  • 2/3 cup golden raisins
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 T Montreal Steak Seasonings
  • 1/2 T kosher salt
  • 1/2 T black pepper

Mix together all ingredients and form into golf ball size meatballs.  Line a baking sheet w/ parchment paper & place meatballs on top.  Bake in 400 degree oven for about 25 minutes.

I like to serve these lamb meatballs on a wooden skewer of 3 or 4 meatballs over a bibb lettuce salad with couscous & grilled veggies.  Also, serve accompanied with a grilled flat bread or made into a pita sandwich with tabouli & tomato salad side.  Yogurt Tzatziki sauce a must either way!
